Meany's Shoes is a family run business in the town of Carrick-on-Suir, on the border of the three counties of Tipperary, Waterford and Kilkenny. Steeped in tradition, local historians have been able to date the Meany family business right back to shoemakers in the 18th Century. With this strong tradition of personal service and good fitting shoes, it is no wonder that this business has such a strong reputation. Customers come from far and wide to avail of the huge selection for all the family.

1 Application and Account Details
By accessing the website or when placing an order with meanys shoes.ie (referred to as “we”) the customer accessing the website (referred to as “you”) agrees to be bound by all the terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to revise these Terms without prior notice to you.
If you use this publication and create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
If you are under 18, you may only use meanys shoes.ie with involvement of a parent or guardian.

2 Supply
We reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company, to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in our sole discretion.

4 Pricing
Unless stated otherwise, all prices on adults footwear and accessories include VAT (where applicable) but exclude delivery costs. Children's footwear is exempt from vat and excludes delivery costs.
The prices quoted are those set at the beginning of each selling season. Due to circumstances beyond our control prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations to the rate of value added tax or changes made by the product manufacturer. For this reason, Information displayed on this site relating to pricing is subject to change by us without notice.
Prices of goods displayed in and ordered through www.meanyshoes.ie may differ from prices in-store.
The prices on the site at the time of any order placed are the prices applicable to that order. However, we always strive to offer good value and if a product is selling at a lower price than displayed on the site, we will change it to the lower price on dispatch but we are not legally obligated to do so. If there has been an error and the product is on-line at a lower price than the selling price we will contact you before dispatch to amend this.

5 Payment
Product can be paid for using any of the following payment methods:
Debt and credit card payments from VISA and Mastercard.
From your PayPal Account.

6 Deliveries
We aim to deliver all product within 4 working days, but in times of high traffic slightly longer delivery times may be needed.
Some products are in high demand and if sold out we might wait a few days if we are expecting new arrivals.
Please allow extra days for local holidays, national bank holidays, weekends, sale time and peak business times such as during the 'Back to School period'
We are not responsible for any delay in delivery caused by the unavailability of someone to take delivery of the products.
We reserve the right to amend or change the free delivery offer at any time, but we promise to notify customers before their order is dispatched if the offer still appears on our website at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to end a sale if the product is no longer in stock.

7 Returns
If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, we will refund the price of the goods in full.
Pack your purchase up in its original box and packaging and send to Meany's Shoes, 84 Main Street, Carrick-on-Suir, Co.Tipperary, Ireland
Email your details and reason for return to meanyshoes.ie.@gmail.com and we will organise collection.
The goods remain the property of you, the customer, until we have received the returned product and refunded the payment amount.
We will refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

If you are not satisfied with a product for any reason e.g. it is damaged or defective, please email meanyshoes.ie@gmail.com with full details and we will deal with your problem as swiftly as possible.

8 Gift Cards

We offer FREE post for all Gift Vouchers ordered. Gift Vouchers will be dispatched within 24 hours of order and can be personalised with a message if requested at the time of order.
All Gift Card orders are sent with An Post postal service.
Please note - Gift Cards cannot be returned once purchased and cannot be exchanged for cash or other gift vouchers. Gift vouchers purchased in-store or on our website cannot be used as a form of payment on the website; they may only be used in-store. We cannot take responsibility for any gift cards that are lost, stolen or used by someone other than your recipient after delivery. Make sure your recipient has received their gift voucher, as it is their responsibility to keep the Gift Voucher safe.
